Hemp frisbees are very eco friendly. They are had out of a plastic alternative that is very sustainable. Hemp crop can be farmed annually, does not have as much upkeep compared to cotton or other similar plants. Hemp uses less water and absorbs more CO2 than traditional crops. Because hemp is so versatile, it helps reduce the need for other products that cause hard to the plant during extraction, processing, application, and degradation. You are also not losing quality when using hemp instead of traditional materials. You are making the product better!

Yes! There are frisbees made from 100% hemp now. Hemp is a biodegradable material so you can safely get rid of it without harming the environment. And its manufacturing process is usually carbon negative. This means the amount of carbon emitted while producing a hemp frisbee is often much less compared to the carbon removed by the hemp plants that were used to create it. But keep in mind that some frisbees are made with a combination of hemp and other materials that might not be so eco-friendly. So, check the materials used before you purchase.

This could be a yes or a no. If you buy a 100% hemp frisbee, then yes. Of course, you need to look at the processes and manufacturing to fully appreciate the environmental impact of the production of the frisbee produces. However, generally speaking, most hemp products are eco-friendly when compared to their plastic or wooden counterparts.

Yes! All hemp products are! They are all eco friendly and extremely durable. So when you are all done playing and want to discard your frisbee, you can do so feeling good about it knowing it will biodegrade back into the earth.

Hemp frisbees that get lost in some trees or woods are bound to be re-absorbed into the earth pretty quickly as compared to petroleum-based plastics.

If you have the option to go with a hemp frisbee, do it.

Yes! Not only are they more durable (which is great for big, mouthy dogs like our boy), but if and when he does eventually destroy it, it is more biodegradable than plastic frisbees, so I don’t have to worry about picking up every little piece that he’s gnawed off.

Yes, they are! Hemp is much more eco friendly than plastic production and will biodegrade much quicker than any comparable material, in case the Frisbee is lost.

Yes! Great for playing with my dog! She destroys regular frisbees much faster, but even when she does destroy the hemp frisbee (which is inevitable), it biodegrades naturally once I’m done with it. I throw it in the compost and start over without guilt! So yes. That makes them very eco-friendly.
