I love hemp products, and I am VERY VERY passionate about my golf. Please excuse the pun, but there’s no need to be messing around with these balls! From what I know of golf, golf technology, and the amount of developmental work that goes into these products, it’s unlikely that hemp golfs balls or any other golf balls could be better. Well, with that said, I would love to be proved wrong.

In terms of your golf game, I am not sure if hemp balls are any better or worse than traditional. I know that avid golfers are very particular on the balls that they use and stay within the PGA regulations. For the environment, hemp golf balls are a way better choice. Traditional balls are made of plastics that will never decompose. Hemp golf balls are biodegradable. No more feeling awful for hitting your ball into the woods, never to be seen again.

You will not find any golf balls made of hemp. Golf balls are made of a solid rubber core and have a thermoplastic cover. You will find golf balls with a hemp design on them that will play as well as any other golf ball. If you want hemp golf products, you can find hemp golf tees available that are 100% biodegradable.

If you take a glance at several web pages, you will notice the answer separately, the hemp originated golf ball can be better for regular practice!
Since it’s biodegradable and cheaper (10 USD) plus the point, you can recover the old ball and get a new one for free! Also, it decomposes in water and leaves no residue behind.

As an avid golfer, I have not seen anything like this. BUT this might be the one thing that hemp can’t make better. Now you hit a shot into the woods, and you can’t find it. You are going to wish that ball was made of hemp! But other than that, I can’t imagine a ball made out of hemp would travel as well as the standards issue gold ball.

Generally, golf balls are made up of rubber and composite materials, which can have a significant environmental impact. That’s why biodegradable golf balls were made to avoid pollution or damaging our environment. Several companies are still starting to produce golf balls out of hemp, and these balls will probably be more sustainable and have better quality than other golf balls.

Regular golf balls have a few layers to them, and the materials have changed over the years.
Nowadays, you can expect a golf ball to be made of mostly resin and rubber.
If a golf ball were made of hemp, it would likely be the outer covering where the hemp could be used.
Also, a hemp plastic would likely be used because raw hemp is just too airy and resistant. It would absorb the shock from the golf club too easily.
I can’t say for sure whether or not it would be better. It would be worth testing on the green.

I do not think hemp golf balls have been designed yet. Knowing this, it could be a potential business opportunity for someone with the means to do so. While you cannot buy hemp golf balls, you can have custom golf balls with hemp images.

From the research, I could not find any hemp golf balls available for purchase. Dixon, EcoGolfBalls, and Wilson all make biodegradable, eco-friendly golf balls that are available for sale, however.

The only hemp golf balls I’ve seen are regular golf balls with hemp images printed on them. So, if they are making golf balls out of hemp, I haven’t seen them. It sounds like they should be great, though—likely biodegradable, which is huge since golfers leave thousands of balls on courses every year.

I need them! My husband has taken to practicing his driving into the hayfield, haha.
