Just like any other herbals, hemp also has side effects depending on how you use it and if the right dosage has not been followed. Some of the side effects are dry mouth, throat irritation, drowsiness, diarrhea, and low blood pressure. There have also been reported that some patients have signs of liver injury, but this is less common.bn

As they say, hemp is “well-tolerated”. You might get a dry mouth from smoking, or diarrhea if you eat too much of it. Reduced appetite is on the list of side effects, but some people consider that a good thing for weight loss. Drowsiness could be a thing, and some people report fatigue. Most importantly, hemp can interact with some meds, so check if you take anything.

Of course, hemp has side effects, just like anything else. If you are taking prescription medications, you should double-check the consumer information as some medicines may interact with hemp.
Just like when you might consume too much of any other product, overeating hemp may result in diarrhea.
Hemp is also known to slow the heart rate.

Yes just like anything else one consumes there is side effects it depends on how much you take. From taking hemp oils, proteins, seeds, ETC. Even smoking hemp there could be side effects.

Of course, whether or not there are side effects depends on how you are ingesting the hemp — are you eating it, smoking it, drinking it, etc.
But let’s assume that you’re eating it whole. The side effects you might experience from eating the whole hemp are:
-Throat irritation.
-Diarrhea.
-Nausea and vomiting.
-Bradycardia (slow heart rate)
-Hypertension (high blood pressure)
None of those sound like particularly appealing side effects, do they?

I think it would depend primarily on how you’re using it. In the places where it is legal to smoke the flowers, I would imagine some individuals may experience irritation to the mouth, throat, and lungs. If used topically, there is always the chance that an individual may be allergic or experience a similar reaction. If a person introduces it into a previously hemp-free diet, you may experience gastrointestinal distress or nausea–as you could potentially expect with the introduction of any new food. These would all vary by person, and aside from significant allergies, I wouldn’t expect any of the issues mentioned above to be severe… It’s not like your pharmaceuticals where there’s a whole laundry list of symptoms, which, if present, require a consultation with a medical provider, haha.

Because hemp is VERY high in fats and oils, there are several side effects associated with that, but the most common one I have seen and heard of is diarrhea!
Other side effects of hemp are irritating to the throat, stomach, and intestines. Also, other common side effects are nausea and vomiting.
