As an individual farmer, you can choose what you feed your livestock, and hemp would make a great choice. I found inconclusive results about large farming complexes using hemp as feed. It appears they still use soy-based or corn-based products. But that could be due to a lack of knowledge, as well as a desire to cut costs wherever possible.

Based on 2019 research, hemp ingredients are still not yet approved for animal feed. This is to keep animals safe. Animal feed ingredients need to undergo a scientific review by a company proposing for the ingredient. It takes a lot of process before approval, but up to this date, no hemp-derived products yet have been permitted.

Healthy fats, protein, fiber, vitamins, and minerals…

      Who doesn’t need those? lol

On a serious note, hemp seeds are currently being used in some places as feed for livestock as opposed to the traditional GMO corn feed with amazing results in terms of healthy animals, and tastier meats.

Yes, and it might be good for them! A study found that using hemp seed as a feed source for cattle can benefit their health.

Yes! It’s a superfood for them, just as it is for humans! I think chickens would probably do especially well with hemp meal feed as it’s so high in protein and good fats.

Yes you can. Livestock actually already eats it. Pigs, bourses, cows, sheep, they are all eating hemp!
