So, the most efficient way to extract CBD would be to utilize the entire plant. While you can extract CBD from only seeds, the seed yield per plant is lower than the biomass (obviously). As such, it would take too much more seed, ergo, so many more plants, to extract the same amount of oil/percentage of CBD than it would if you were to use floral material or a combination of floral and stems and leaves.
There is a rudimentary practice of oil extraction, which involves heating hemp material for extended periods in oil, which causes the CBD/THC to bond with the fat molecules in the oil.
Commercially, you encounter C02 extraction, or even extraction via butane, ethanol, or other chemical processes with solvents. Arguable, the latter, solvent methods, are less pure and pose more risks than C02 extraction or oil extraction.

This is often the long debate hat whether we can obtain the different CBD oil through the hemp plant; there are different schools of thought related to this. However, scientific researches show that the hemp has significant CBD; this can be obtained from parts like the leaves and the flowers of the hemp plant.
But the seeds of the hemp plant do not have any CBD. The CBD oil can be extracted by pressurizing the leaves and the stems of the hemp plant.
Always make it clear that if you purchase any hemp seed oil products, then you are not going to get any benefit from the CBD oil. For this specific purpose, you need more broad-spectrum hemp labeled CBD oil products.
Although CBD is a significant constituent of marijuana plants, the CBD oil extraction from marijuana is illegal under federal laws. However, the authorities must have specified the optimum level of the THC in the CBD oil, which is considered safe for extraction purposes.
So the hemp plant has a trace amount of THC approximately 0.3% only. So the extraction of the CBD oil from the hemp plant is considered safe for use and is also legal.
