The quick answer, no. While they do have trace amounts in it, that isn’t allowed by the FDA so they have to treat it in order to remove almost all if not all traces of CBD and THC in order to sell it to retailers. They are a great source of protein and contain many essential vitamins and minerals, add them to your favorite meal to change it up!

The first question to answer is, “What are hemp hearts?” Hemp hearts are simply the soft edible interior of hemp seeds.
Hemp seeds are from the same plant species as cannabis (marijuana) but a different variety. So hemp hearts contain little to no amounts of THC and only trace amounts of CBD. You won’t get high eating hemp hearts, nor will you fail a drug test. You won’t feel more relaxed, but you will get a mighty, potent dose of fiber, calcium, and iron!
