I have not explicitly seen hemp shin guards available for sale. That does not mean that they cannot be made. Hemp is a superior alternative to plastic, so there is a possibility for them to be developed. There are hemp knee pads for sale on the internet. It is just a matter of time for a company to develop hemp shin guards.

No, hemp shin guards do not exist at the moment. However, there are hemp knee pads used for skateboarding available. There may be a chance of hemp shin guards shortly as hemp plastic is used to make phone cases as well as other protective items.

I’ve sought the web, but I couldn’t discover any relevant topic about the shin guards. Still, for sure, because of the profoundly harmful material like the plastic used to build these kinds of sportswear, hemp architects would figure it out as soon as possible! But, not a bad idea! Maybe you could contact some of the producers to sell your idea! Seriously.

It would work – hemp is super strong and durable. It would absorb and wisk away your sweat, and most importantly, it would probably be even lighter than the plastic ones they make now!

Shin guards are used to protecting the lower extremities of the body from impact in any physical activity. These are made up of synthetic materials like polyurethane, fiberglass, and foam rubber. While hemp fibers are strong and durable, which can make sustainable products, there are still no shin guards made out of hemp available.

No, hemp shin guards do not exist. But that does not mean that hemp shin guards won’t be invented. Hemp would make a great base material for a shin guard because shin guards are essential items for soccer players. Shin guards protect your shins and calves from injury and bruising. Since hemp is such a strong and durable material, it makes sense that hemp could be used to create shin guards someday.

      No, not yet!

Considering that hemp is stronger than steel in some ways, it would make sense for someone to make them!

Even as a hemp composite, it would rival the current fiberglass shin guards on the market right now!

To date, not that I know of. Potentially, a company is currently working on this product as the market is wide open for this product, and the popularity of hemp items is growing.

I’ve got some hemp knee pads (for working in the garden, but they are made for skateboarders, I think), but I’ve never seen actual hemp shin guards. It doesn’t mean that they don’t exist (or won’t soon), just that I haven’t seen them (yet.)

They did….but not anymore. They discontinued the products they have on sale, and it’s not surprising given the reviews the outcome got.

They only used a hemp weave for the fabric element of the guard and added plastic as the hard shell protection. Users found it uncomfortable and stated the sizing was all wrong.

Back to the drawing board, it seems!
