Some people say that this crop does not need much water, but it is a myth. Just like any other plant, hemp plants should be appropriately irrigated to grow well. How much water required will depend on the climate, but it needs roughly two to three gallons per day, per plant 1 Reply Share Share Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Share on LinkedIn Share on WhatsApp Abe Melbourne, Australia 2 Questions 238 Answers 0 Best Answers 560 Points View Profile Abigail 2020-07-05T22:30:32-04:00Added an answer on July 5, 2020 at 10:30 pm In farming hemp, one needs to understand the irrigation aspect of growth, the knowledge of the cultivation of hemp, and the calculations of a sufficient amount of water as per hemp plant. Necessary amounts of water and soil requirements in growing hemp depend entirely on the climate, but, generally, you will need 2 or 3 gallons per day per plant at peak consumption times. 0 Reply Share Share Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Share on LinkedIn Share on WhatsApp surf2day 0 Questions 27 Answers 0 Best Answers 74 Points View Profile surf2day 2020-05-01T02:18:53-04:00Added an answer on May 1, 2020 at 2:18 am I doubt it, most plants in the wild don’t get water every day, and hemp is no different. you’d probably be fine watering it two or three times per week 0 Reply Share Share Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Share on LinkedIn Share on WhatsApp Molly24 0 Questions 4 Answers 0 Best Answers 27 Points View Profile Molly24 2020-04-06T20:56:02-04:00Added an answer on April 6, 2020 at 8:56 pm Hemp is amongst the profitable plants in the world. It can be cultivated in many different regions and on every type of soil. Hemp needs at least about 20-30 inches of rainfall when it is in the growing stage. If precipitation is less, Irrigation is required. The absorption of water by the plant increases daily until the flowers start to bloom. Once that happens, water consumption decreases. Hence, 1 kg of the fiber requires about 80-130 gallons of water. -1 Reply Share Share Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Share on LinkedIn Share on WhatsApp Leave an answerCancel replyYou must login to add an answer.
