Oral bacteria cause tooth decay. By including CBD oil in oral care routine, it can defend against Streptococcus mutans. CBD will help slow or even reverse the effects of tooth decay. Tests are more needed, but it has positive effects against inflammation and decay associated with cavities. It has been shown to have bone-strengthening properties that can help keep your teeth strong and resist cavities.

It is discovered that Hemp has higher anti-bacterial characteristics than all the other natural fibers, including cotton. Hemp is intensely resistant to mold, rot, and mildew. Thus, since hemp CBD oil is extracted from the hemp plant, it is the apple that doesn’t far away from the tree. You can fight against oral bacteria, especially Streptococcus mutans. It is experienced that CBD oil has constructive outcomes against inflammation and decay that leads to cavities.

Interesting, I had no idea about this. Would you just put some on your toothbrush/paste when brushing at night?

Building off CrayM’s answer, while all of those benefits are true, CBD is also shown to improve bone growth, healing, as well as formation.

There was a study conducted that had shown that CBD could help in protecting against age-related bone loss.

Because teeth are bone, I figured I’d bring up the benefits of bone growth in CBD.

Though the antibacterial and antifungal properties of CBD will reduce the chance of tooth decay.

The short answer, yes it does help. Cannabidiol has antibacterial and anti-fungal properties that can help maintain the health of your teeth. It also has anti-inflammatory properties that help with slowing or reversing tooth decay.
