All milk alternatives have a shelf life as traditional milk does. For refrigerated hemp milk, the shelf life is ten days after opening. Unrefrigerated hemp milk can last for a month. If you are one that likes to stretch out the expiration date, I will not consume hemp milk after two days past the expiration date.

Yes, of course, it can go bad! It will stay good for 10 + days after opening and being refrigerated, but yes, it will still go bad. Not as quick as regular milk, but yes, still go bad.

I did read up on it, and some people just put it in their cabinet and have gone to it a month or so later, and it still is good. So there’s that for hemp milk.

I mistakenly did this while trying out new types of milk. Almond milk and nut milks in general last a little longer, but hemp milk is probably the best nutritionally speaking. Ten days is enough if you drink a lot of milk, but if you like me, you only have it in hot drinks, then be careful how much you buy otherwise it will also go to waste!

Yes! It can spoil. Although compared to milk, it lasts longer time without going bad, and it can stay entirely fresh for about 10 to 15 days, it still needs to be kept in the refrigerator once opened and can spoil if kept longer.

It does. Although it’s a longer life than regular dairy milk, it will react to oxygen. Because of this, it will usually need to be consumed with 10-14 days of opening – always check the label!

Any milk could spoil after some time. So, hemp milk will too. Depending on which brand you buy, it could be safely kept for 1 to 2 months in a sealed container. If you open the carton, it could last for around seven days. But you will have to keep it refrigerated. You can find out whether it has gone bad by checking the taste and consistency. It’s got a lovely nutty flavor that will turn sour with a foul smell when it’s spoiled.

Yes, hemp milk does spoil. Hemp milk will usually spoil within 7 to 10 days of being opened as long as refrigerated. Non-refrigerated hemp milk will last as long as a month. Hemp milk is trendy as it has numerous benefits to the body, including the fact it is easily digested.

Yes, hemp milk spoils. If you don’t refrigerate it, an open carton of hemp milk will spoil in a matter of hours. If you do refrigerate hemp milk — which you should! — it stays fresh for 7-10 days. Strangely, if you don’t open the container of hemp milk at all, it will stay fresh for about a month.

Yes, hemp milk does spoil, but it is fantastic. It is plant-based and vegan, so it is the best source for protein and has ten amino acids. It spoils if left out because hemp is reactive to oxygen, so if milk is getting chunky, it’s time to throw it out. An opened but refrigerated hemp milk can stay fresh up to ten days.

Yes, just like many other milk types. It will stay fresh for ten days when opened and refrigerated. If unopened, like some nut milk, you can leave it in a cupboard for up to a month.

It does eventually if left open/uncovered, and unrefrigerated. However, in a closed container in the fridge, it tends to last a long time. I know that’s vague, but we had never had any go bad before we used it all (:

Hemp, just like most things, are oxygen reactive.

This means it will oxidize (go bad) if left out of covered refrigeration for too long.

Like most perishable items, you’d want to keep it contained and cool by continuing it in your refrigerating when you’re not using it.

Yes. Hemp reacts to oxygen, so it spoils quite quickly if you leave it out or it spills on the counter. Refrigerated hemp milk is fine for a week to 10 days after you open it. The unrefrigerated tetra packs last up to a month unopened. But always check the dates on the carton.
