Hemp oil has been a popular remedy for years. There are claims of anecdotal proof for beneficial properties ranging from improving acne to treating cancer and slowing the progression of heart and Alzheimer’s disease. Several claims have not been proven yet by clinical research. Data does suggest that hemp oil may be able to help specific health issues, such as inflammation and skin conditions.

Harvard says it helps a bunch of health issues, but the evidence I consider the best is how they treat childhood epilepsy syndromes (Dravet and Lennox-Gastaut.) These kids don’t do well on antiseizure medications, so they’ve done a bunch of studies. You can see the videos online of how it helps these kids. Plus, the FDA recently finally approved a cannabis-derived medicine, Epidiolex. So, more research for everything else, but this is a good start.

Hemp is a great natural way to boost your health, both for chronic conditions and general health.

I have been adding it where ever I can, from consuming it, swapping out oils in cooking, and rubbing it into my joints when they are sore.

It’s been such a popular natural product in the last few years, but I’ve been reading it has been used for hundreds of years, so it’s no shrinking violet.

If you can, I would start adding hemp products and CBD oil into your life, and you will begin to see benefits in your skin, stress levels, and general well being. It’s a fantastic plant, and one of the best things is it is renewable, and there’s no shortage.

I love to use it where ever I can, and have found that products made from hemp like clothing are super definite, win-win.

As others have already mentioned hemp oil has many medical benefits. As with other types of oils, hemp oil is great for skin conditions such as eczema and dry or cracked skin. Hemp has anti-inflammation properties so using hemp oil may help to reduce inflammation associated with chronic conditions such as arthritis. Hemp oil has also been trialed in the treatment of epilepsy.

Well, there are many medical benefits attributed to Hemp seed oil, including moisturizing the skin. The oil is used to mitigate discomfort related to itchy skin, and painful muscles even to strengthen the skin. It can help the skin resist various kinds of fungal, bacterial, and viral infections.

Yes. Just like hemp has many uses, hemp can have many healing effects too. It depends on the person, though, and what conditions they are trying to heal.

Yes! So at a basic level, plain Jane hemp oil (think olive oil but from hemp) has THE perfect ratio of Omega 3s and Omega 5s for optimal absorption! Our family has switched out taking nasty fish oil vitamins with only cooking with hemp oil! Tastes a WHOLE lot better. This oil also has positive results when used topically on the skin, and is used in many skincare products.
CBD oil has a whole other spectrum of health benefits. It can decrease stress and anxiety and help those who have panic disorders. It has been proven to be effective in treating seizure disorders, although full-spectrum (which contains THC) is more effective on those lines. It can alleviate chronic pain in patients with ongoing difficulties from prior trauma or those with arthritis.
Up until the “Reefer Madness” era, hemp/cannabis/marijuana was basically what Tylenol is to us today. Trouble sleeping? Here’s some cannabis. Menstrual cramps? Cannabis. Headache? Cannabis. That said, the whole cannabis family can be beneficial for a plethora of uses.

Hemp oil, which contains CBD, has been shown to have some benefits from what I’ve read. I think it can help with things like pain, seizures, sleep, and stuff like that. If you go to youtube, there are a handful of videos of people taking CBD for seizures that are pretty incredible to watch. However, it’s probably best to talk with a doctor first before using it as the proper medication.

Hemp oil has been hyped for its wide range of health benefits. The most reliable scientific evidence of hemp oil is the effective treatment of some painful childhood epilepsy syndrome, such as Lennox-Gastaut (LGS) and Dravet syndrome.
These syndromes usually do not respond to anti-seizure medicines. In various studies, the hemp oil is used to reduce numerous seizures, and in a few cases, it stopped them. There are many videos available on the internet.
These are about the CBD effects on childhood diseases and seizures and are quite outstanding. Recently, the first-ever hemp plant-derived medicine was approved by the FDA for epidiolex condition.
It is also used to addressing several types of chronic pain. Experiments done on animals showed that applying CBD helps inflammation and pain caused due to arthritis. Another severe chronic pain that is ‘neuropathic’ is treated with the help of this oil.
Another study showed the reduced risk of heart diseases by enhancing the high blood pressure (hypertension) in certain people.
The hemp benefits findings suggest that it can be a complementary therapy for people diagnosed with hypertension and that complicated by anxiety and stress.
However, more studies and experiments are needed to prove the medicinal benefits of hemp oil.
