There are scientific studies that showed hemp seed has a great ability to treat skin conditions such as eczema. Hemp seed benefits skin both when absorbed through the skin in the form of a cream and even when taken internally. It is probably because of hemp oil being rich in essential fatty acids (EFAs), which is right in maintaining good skin.

I personally suffer from eczema, and I have found that using an all-natural cream with hemp oil in it does relieve itchiness. Used over time, I have even found that hemp cream can help with dryness, which is often the underlying root cause.

Eczema is a problem on the inside expressing itself on the outside. Everyone I know with eczema has digestive or lung problems, too. So, my answer is to see a doctor to treat your insides… but the rash is so annoying you’ll want to do something for it, too. And Hemp cream is as good as anything and better than most for that. The omegas are great for skin, from the inside or out.

Eczema is such a tricky skin condition to treat and manage. Sticking with natural products that do not further irritate the skin is important in the management of eczema. This is why hemp seed cream would work well to treat eczema. Hemp products are known to contain fatty acids, vitamins and minerals – these are all important in the management of eczema. We know that hemp products can reduce inflammation. With eczema the skin often becomes inflamed. It is likely that hemp cream will help with eczema due to its anti inflammatory properties.

It absolutely does. Hemp oil has a ton of fatty acids, which help the skin recover from irritation.

I think CrayM and Amanda have covered it well enough.

Though, I would like to provide a firsthand account of someone that frequently had eczema outbreaks on his eyelid.

He tried some hemp cream at the advice of his mother and had amazing results.

After a day or two of applying the cream, the eczema flare was no more.

Since tons of information surrounding hemp and CBD is transmitted via testimonials, I thought I would contribute my own.

      Hope this helps!

Hemp oil is known to have anti-inflammatory properties, which would reduce both the rashy spots associated with eczema, as well as reducing itching and irritation. So, if you were to find a cream that had a high hemp content, I would assume that would be beneficial and effective in soothing eczema. I’m by no means a medical professional, but I would suggest looking for the least-processed, most natural cream you could find if you look to treat eczema this way. There are some creams out there that have added ingredients (parabens, pthalates, et cetera) that can cause cause irritation or allergic dermatitis when used on areas of skin affected by eczema.

Hemp oil is packed full of polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFAs), which are known to have anti-inflammatory properties – reducing itching. It makes sense than that any cosmetic with hemp oil could have eczema relieving effects.
