First, it is necessary to understand what CBD is and what it does. CBD is one of the hundred cannabinoids that are found in the hemp plant and act on an endocannabinoid system.
The endocannabinoid system regulates various organs and systems in the human body and also contains CB1 and CB2 receptors.
CBD works on CB1 and CB2 receptors to reduce inflammation, pain, stress, curb nausea, and calm anxiety. CBD is a non-psychoactive component. Like the working of the traditional THC based compounds, the CBD does not leave the consumer with feeling ‘high.’
CBD is not similar to cannabis. It is an isolated compound and is usually considered safe for children to use. As compared to traditional pharmaceutical interventions, CBD has very few side effects. It provides an alternative to old treatments.
Parents are using CBD to treat anxiety, seizure, and autism behavior in kids when traditional treatments fail.
It’s better to consult a doctor or licensed healthcare professional if you think that CBD will benefit your child. The scientific evidence about the use of CBD in children is minimal.

CBD has been chosen now by many parents as an alternative for treatment and therapies for children. CBD is safe for kids. It can help in curing anxiety, autism, and seizure. However, not all hemp soap contains CBD. Thus, it is always important to read all labels first before using it or better consult a healthcare professional.

Just like anything you use for your kids: read the label! Not all hemp soaps contain CBD–some isolate the proteins and omega fats for the emulsification process. However, the soaps that do contain CBD are safe for children! Since we raise hemp and have a young daughter, this was something I researched a lot because I didn’t want to expose her to anything that could affect her proper development. Something cool I found out during that time was that breastmilk naturally contains some of the same cannabinoids present in cannabis, which is essential to proper brain development!

I absolutely agree! Reading the label and doing your research on the specific soap is important. All soaps are different, so it’s good to know what’s in your hemp soap.

Soaps you buy should hopefully contain the active ingredients and if CBD is in there it should be listed. If you are looking for soap with CBD a few quick searches online should help and vice versa.
