I can say, from personal experience this week, that it will not give you a headache. If you have a headache during or after smoking, as long as it is a pure hemp roll-up, you’re probably more likely to be dehydrated. EXCEPTION – If you buy low-quality hemp, then potentially yes, but if you buy from a reputable site, with quality testing etc, then you should experience this at all really.

Since most of the other answers don’t speak to personal experience, let me share with you how I feel about smoking hemp or hemp products. I personally am not a big smoker in general, so hookah tends to give me a headache. I did not get a headache from smoking hemp. However, this was a one-time experience. The results might differ for someone who smokes hemp every day, multiple times a day, or even more regularly.

According to a 2019 research, headache caused by smoking hemp is just a myth. Hemp smoke markets today have grown. You can smoke hemp since it is only cannabis that contains a low level of the psychoactive compound. Smoking it won’t make you high as to what marijuana does. But, too much smoking might give you a feeling of being tired and sedated.

I have read a lot into this recently and a lot of people, most people, report having headaches.

There’s really no definitive answer to this, as it’s something that’s completely dependent on the individual. Personally, I have never experienced headaches from it, and I have a history of migraine, for what that’s worth. Unlike tobacco, hemp doesn’t contain nicotine, so you won’t experience the effects of withdrawal (which cause the headaches) or “nic fits”. But, some people are sensitive to smoking, regardless of what they’re smoking, so in those individuals it’d be safe to assume they may experience headaches.

Just like smoking anything, yes, you could get a headache. This is mostly determined by how hydrated you are and your experience with smoking. If you were to smoke just the fibers of the stalk from the hemp plant, you would likely get a headache as it contains no CBD or THC that is found in hemp. It would be like just smoking random plants you saw in the garden, leading to a headache because your body does not know how to process what it is and could lead to possible bodily damage.
