Yes, it is legal with proper licensing, of course.
They have deprecated their pilot program in favor of the 2018 farm bill outlining.
I’m surprised Texas has moved along with it in the way they have.

Well, the most likely answer is a definite yes as Texas looks like a free state of charge from everything! But there are some limitations when back at June the producing and manufacturing plus the retailing sale of hemp crops and products came legally in Texas, both hemp and marijuana are cannabis plants. Still, they differ in the dosage of THC, which is the pure element that people use to get high!

Yes. 2018 Farm Bill legalized the growing and production of hemp commercially. The Governor signed House Bill 1325. The bill allows manufacture, retail, sale, and inspection of industrial hemp in Texas. The bill also includes that consumable hemp products that contain CBD and other edible parts of the plant are considered as legal. This is as long as it includes not more than 0.3% THC.

Yes, it is, they joined with one of the most recent waves of state’s, in 2019, allowing hemp production and distribution. Like any other business endeavor, you will want to have a business plan in place, allowing you to start off on the right path and identify any potential hurdles that you may need to overcome.

The June 2019 passage of Texas House Bill 1325 made production, manufacturing, and retail sales of hemp crop and hemp products legal. Texas is careful to remind everyone that while hemp and marijuana belong to the same cannabis family, legal hemp can’t get you high.

I wonder if the state’s reminder is due to any kind of criminal activity around the farms? Or perhaps to deter it? Around here, there were a number of farms that got robbed of plants fairly close to harvest.
