There are two kinds of inflammation: acute and chronic.

Hemp has been shown to treat both types of inflammation. Lots of autoimmune disorders will cause the body to create oxidative stress from the inflammation, and hemp combats this why working on our own ECS (endocannabinoid system) to relieve the nervous system from overreacting.

Inflammation is not a bad thing, and it’s TOO MUCH inflammation that ends up causing us problems.

Yes, it can treat the inflammation on your skin, but it also has efficacy in treating internal inflammation as well.

Hemp oil has therapeutic properties which can help with inflammation to reduce irritation and also inflammation. Fortunately its also relatively cheap and all natural so while it may not work for everyone it’s definitely worth a try!

Hemp oil is excellent for inflammation because it balances your skin’s delicate pH and moisturizes without clogging pores.

One reason that many people have oily or acne-prone skin is that they put too many drying ingredients on their face, which causes your skin to overproduce oil, which in turn stimulates acne growth. Then, because their face is oily and broken out, they skip moisturizer, which exacerbates the dryness and makes for a vicious cycle on their poor skin!

Using hemp oil as a cleanser — the first thing you use to cleanse with — or as a nighttime moisturizer — the final step layered over the rest of your skin routine — is a great way to rebalance your skin’s pH and ensure you are neither overproducing nor underproducing oil.

Oily, broken-out skin, as well as dry, scaly skin, are both causes of skin inflammation. If you treat the underlying problem, you’ll be saving your skin!
