It’s a little hard to explain, but they have an earthy, nutty flavor, with a bit of a wild “bite” on the backend, occasionally. Texturally, the closest description I can give is if the meat sunflower seeds was a bit softer. I think they taste pretty wholesome, like when I eat them I truly feel like I’m doing something good for my body, haha.

Hemp hearts and seeds are virtually the same things.
One is shelled, and one is not, but to answer your question, they have a nutty flavor, which makes them an excellent substitute for people who have a kit allergy who are craving some nuts to eat!
