Some people can notice the effects of CBD immediately. I can only tell after my third or fourth day. CBD usually will take effect very quickly if taken on its own. If taken topically, it will take a bit to feel the results of the CBD. If it is taken orally, you can feel the effects within a few moments.

It depends on how you are using the CBD oil as to how long it will take to work. If you are applying the CBD oil to your skin or hair, the effects are almost immediate. If you are vaping the oil the same, the results will be almost instant. When you are taking CBD oil in the form of an edible, it can take up to 90 minutes for you to start feeling the effects, as the CBD oil has to go through your digestive system before being absorbed into your bloodstream.

Using it as to swallow a capsule or apply it like edibles such as gummy, chocolate, or isolate, allocate about 90 minutes for the CBD oil to work correctly. The reason behind the specified time is that it took longer than any other method to go through your body; it should go to your digestive system before it can be absorbed into your bloodstream.

Topically and sublingually, almost instantly, is my experience. Orally (like swallowed) takes longer even at higher doses. Some say an hour and a half, but I’ve never encountered it taking that long—more like 20 to 30 minutes for me.

This depends heavily on the type of person and method of use. When taken orally or topically with ointment, about 90 minutes. Many recommend for almost an instant effect is putting the oil/juice under your tongue or on the language. What also can be done is inhaling it with a vape or similar device, affecting within several minutes.

Just does depend on the person and the method of use. I have heard people say that they feel results with topical applications nearly immediately and benefit from oral use within minutes. Personally, I have felt very quick headache relief from CBD oil. So I think it all depends a lot on how you’re using it and why–like anything, sometimes it will vary from person to person, so you’ll need to try different methods to find what works for you.
