From ACS Laboratory’s report on hemp pricing, I was able to find out the answer to your question. “According to a Hemp Benchmarks report, up to 25K pounds of CBD Biomass sold for roughly $4.02 per %CBD per pound in June 2019. That price dropped significantly to $2.32 in October and is selling at $1.31 as of the report in January 2020, representing a 67% decrease overall.” This report shows that because CBD-rich hemp is currently being overproduced, the price per pound is decreasing dramatically as time goes on.

It depends on your state. But, according to an agricultural journal, a farmer said the average is around 11 cents per pound, or they are paid by the acre.

If it’s high CBD content you’re farming for, your practices and your cost could vary.
For reference, the hemp that is used in Charlotte’s web CBD is a hybrid from a strain called R4 and industrial hemp.
It produces a strain that contains 17% CBD and minimal THC.
This is a very high amount of CBD, and you could very well charge high market prices for it.
Using a simple calculator I found, you COULD get about $17 per pound if it is a 17% CBD crop.
I hope this helps.

As a farmer, I will say it’s worth however much someone is willing to pay for it–haha. After this growing season, there is a lot of uncertainty on the back end of the market. Generally speaking, it depends on the intended end-use of the hemp… hemp used for fiber is worth less per pound, but your pound is by biomass–the whole shebang. If you’re planning to process it for oil, it pays a bit better, but depending on the THC composition, you won’t be using much stalk (if the crop yields higher in THC, the raw material is homogenized with more stalk/stem to lower the THC content). If you’re selling the floral material, you should theoretically be getting the highest amount per pound of the three. However, you’re looking at a pound of flower per plant, and that’s being generous. If you are growing to process yourself, you can expect a higher value than what you would be getting if you’re growing for a processor. There are lots of variables here.
