Before becoming a hemp farmer, you need to consider lots of factors. The first thing is to consult if growing hemp is legal in your area. If it’s legal, you have to undergo a process of getting a license to grow hemp. You must also consider if the climate and soil will be suited for your hemp. Finally, make sure that it would be profitable if you’re growing it to earn.

Well, you have to have a lot of lands first off! The only way to currently make money off of industrial hemp.
You also have to apply for a license and pay for that and for some other government fees to start!
The hardest thing to start Hemp farming is finding enough and enough approved seeds since the seeds will have passed by the seed commission.

Grow hemp (:
In summary, here’s my advice:
1: Learn all you can about growth–shadow a hemp farmer if possible.
2: Make your business plan and have clear options for the end product–find a buyer if you can. Decide if you will start from seeds or use clones, and locate a vendor for those.
2.5: In this plan, also ensure you consider how you will water and cultivate the land, weed control, manpower for planting and harvesting, and plan seasonally.
3: Obtain a license through your state.
From there, it’s trial and error for growth.

This largely depends on your state, as some are easier to obtain a license in than others are. As hemp is legal to grow in almost all states, look up your state’s law concerning hemp growing and find the application process. In some states, it is all available online and a relatively straightforward process. Hemp growing is like any other business and should be researched thoroughly before beginning.
