There are a variety of ways to eat hemp seeds. What RainDanceMaggie said is almost spot on, one addition, make sure to heat the pan up without the seeds in the pan, or you run the risk of making them dry and brittle. Toasted hemp seeds are an excellent alternative for people with nut allergies since they are not a nut, obviously, and provide a nutrient-rich snack that everyone will love.

You can add hemp seeds, or hearts, to salads, soups, or even granola and smoothies. I’ve never roasted any myself, but we just buy the hearts and seeds commercially, so they’re already prepared. I prefer the hearts since they’re easier on your teeth lol.

Your going to want to get a skillet and put it on low, medium heat. (Too hot they’ll burn, too low they won’t cook).
When they start to pop, or you hear a cracking noise, they are ready. You don’t even need to add oil as they are already rich in oil!
