I’m Not a big believer in cooking them, but I guess you could bake them as long as they are covered in cooking oil. 0 Reply Share Share Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Share on LinkedIn Share on WhatsApp amanda.tolar Waynesburg, United States (US) 0 Questions 313 Answers 0 Best Answers 662 Points View Profile amanda.tolar 2020-06-16T12:28:49-04:00Added an answer on June 16, 2020 at 12:28 pm If you have raw seed, you can toast them by heating a bit of oil in a skillet on medium-high. Toss the seeds until they begin to pop. If you have hearts (ground seed), you can add them to baked goods, soups, salads, or shakes! 0 Reply Share Share Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Share on LinkedIn Share on WhatsApp Moogdummy 0 Questions 246 Answers 0 Best Answers 521 Points View Profile Moogdummy 2020-06-12T12:22:53-04:00Added an answer on June 12, 2020 at 12:22 pm There are tons of ways to prepare hemp seed. The easiest is toasting them (in a cast-iron skillet, preferably). Once they begin to pop in the pan, they are fully cooked through. You can also grind them down to a powder using a mortar and pestle or a coffee grinder if you have one on hand. The powder is excellent for adding to a variety of food recipes. 0 Reply Share Share Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Share on LinkedIn Share on WhatsApp CrayM 0 Questions 311 Answers 0 Best Answers 655 Points View Profile CrayM 2020-06-11T01:29:31-04:00Added an answer on June 11, 2020 at 1:29 am You will want to heat a medium-sized saucepan on medium-high heat. Once heated, place the hemp seeds in the pan without any oil as hemp seeds are naturally very oily. Once you start to hear them pop, they are ready to be taken off. You can add salt and pepper for the desired taste. 0 Reply Share Share Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Share on LinkedIn Share on WhatsApp Leave an answerCancel replyYou must login to add an answer.
