CDB Oil is not a drug in itself; providing it does not contain THC. CBD is a component in medical marijuana, but it is derived from the Hemp plant. As such, no THC should be present.
People commonly think that CBD Oil is a type of marijuana product, and therefore the product gets confused for being a drug. CBD Oil causes no psychoactive effects, unlike marijuana, which is a psychoactive substance.
In countries where CBD Oil is listed on the Controlled Drug Register, such as in Australia, CBD Oil may be considered a drug and is not able to ben legally sold directly to the public.

Throughout history, the classification of what is and isn’t a drug changes a lot. CBD oil is made from a hemp plant, and it as zero negative side-effects when presented in an oil state. It is not psychoactive, and in the U.S., there is a legal requirement that caps the THC levels, to make sure it is not, at any point, classified as a drug.
If you’re worried about getting into trouble for using legal CBD oil or even becoming addicted, then you don’t need to. It’s merely a highly nutritious oil that comes from a plant.

A drug is any substance or medicine which has a physical or psychological effect when taken into the body. CBD oil comes from the hemp plant, and it is a dietary supplement. Technically speaking, CBD oil is a drug. But, CBD is a non-psychoactive compound. It’s not a type of drug that would show positively in a drug test. It doesn’t produce a “high” that what marijuana does.

Technically speaking, yes–but in that technical manner of speaking, so is caffeine. It does not offer any mind-altering or narcotic properties, though, which is typically what people are meaning when they discuss whether or not something is a “drug”.

I think a lot of people get it confused with THC which is the psychoactive ingredient in marijuana. CBD does not have any psychoactive properties or anything that will make you feel high.

I guess that defines how you define drugs. Is coffee a drug? Is Advil a drug? Is anything with medicinal benefit a drug?
Suppose you mean drugs like marijuana or shrooms, then no. CBD does not have psychoactive properties so that you won’t feel “high” or anything like that.
If you mean drug-like Advil, then maybe? It does help people with pain and other things, but it’s also all-natural.
