The study that wavess is referring to is a rigged study. You can read it here:
https://www.mdpi.com/1420-3049/24/9/1694/htm
The “CBD” that was used in the study is a synthetic proprietary version called Epidiolex.
So what the results SHOULD have said, is that extremely high doses of Epidiolex caused liver toxicity in mice.
Even then, in my opinion, anything in EXTREMELY HIGH DOSES is not usually good for you. If you’ve ever heard the phrase, “moderation is key”, then you’ll know that that should ring true for CBD as well.
Hope this helps.

At this point, it’s hard to say if CBD oil is good or bad for your liver. More research needs to be done.
A recent study came out that says CBD is bad for your liver in extremely high doses. But even when the scientists who conducted the study noted that more research must be done before any conclusions can be drawn.
The majority of what you read out there right now will tell you that CBD oil is good for your liver. Or that it is good in particular cases like CBD oil might be good for people who have fatty liver disease.
These two conflicting ideas are why more research needs to be done!
