Cbd oil and fatty liver is not the right combination; the oils are rich in fat and can increase more fat around the liver. I have read that taking to much can increase or cause liver damage. Cbd does have its proper uses, but careful not to seek too much.

A lot of things cause liver damage with alcohol and over the counter drugs being two of the main contributors.
Scientists claim that taking too much CBD in high quantities could lead to liver damage. However, this is dependent on the individual’s liver function and other lifestyle factors.
A past CBD study conducted on mice concluded that the mice generally tolerated the CBD, however where there were high doses, they were sometimes harmful effects. The key is moderation, as is the case with most other substances, including alcohol, over the counter medications and CBD oil included.

Despite studies show a lot of advantages of CBD treatment for specific health issues, research has found that extremely high doses of CBD oil could result in damage to the liver, yet, it is still early to tell. It may sound potentially dangerous, but most specialists say that there is no need to worry or panic.

Depends on the individual’s body and how it processes hemp, as well as the dosage you’re taking. If you’re following recommended dosage guidelines, there is little to no risk to your health. If, however, you are consuming vast amounts of hemp, you may start to notice adverse side effects, including liver damage.

Your liver metabolizes hemp so that it could be a problem. But some others say it helps liver damage. Small doses seem to be the key to it. Mostly it needs a lot more research (imagine that!) because liver damage is severe. I really don’t know how you can check to see if your liver is okay while you use it, though. Maybe a naturopath?

In small doses, you should be fine for the most part, as other people have said you can check with your doctor or also read medical journals/papers to get more info

Like a few have mentioned above, there was a study at U Arkansas that purported to show that CBD poses a threat to liver health… This, like many other flawed studies, shows harmful results in mice. But what’s failing to be taken into consideration here, is, proportionally, the doses administered are nearly 100x the recommended use! Of course, that’s going to cause damage! If you ingest anything at that high a rate, there will be potentially deadly side effects. Project CBD is a non-profit that seeks to present trustworthy science-based evidence regarding the use of CBD… They’ve been referenced in a few articles on Leafly about such studies, and I think it’s essential to base opinions on numerous studies, rather than just one.
And, to add, in the mainstream clinical and medical world, there is some degree of distaste for medical marijuana and CBD… my hot take here is that it poses a significant threat to the otherwise immortal and lucrative pharmaceutical industry. Just flick on your television, and within minutes, you will undoubtedly see numerous drug advertisements where the potential side effects will make the hair on the back of your neck stand up but, why isn’t there more pushback about the extensive use of those? I don’t want to go too far down the pharma-conspiracy rabbit hole here, but it’s just something to think about. Also–Tylenol can cause liver damage, but we’re not questioning its efficacy.

Consult a doctor if you have concerns, but I haven’t heard anything about CBD causing liver damage.
Researchers at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences recently rolled up their sleeves to investigate CBD hepatotoxicity. What they found was while this cannabis derivative is gaining significant recognition as of late in the world of wellness, people that use CBD are at an elevated risk for liver toxicity.
