Hemp is breathable, and it wicks moisture away from your body. You stay cooler in the heat and warmer in the cold. Cotton is breathable and naturally wicks some, but it holds onto smells and moisture longer. So, pretty much a tie, but hemp wins imo.

No, it is quite the contrary and a main reason why people prefer cotton to hemp clothing. Although, hemp is much more durable and not as absorbent.
