Hemp contains CBD, and the antifungal benefits of CBD have been known since the early 1980s. One of the medically valuable properties of cannabis that is shared by other cannabinoids is the antimicrobial factor that CBG and CBC represent. Full-spectrum hemp oil that contains CBC can help with athlete’s foot because of its antifungal properties. Works by stopping the cells from multiplying in fungus.

Everything I read says it is naturally antifungal, but seldom does anyone go out on a limb and say it works as a fungal treatment. But, my dad, who suffered from athletes’ foot since he played football in his youth, found it worked as a treatment when nothing else did. I’m up for the anti-aging qualities generally, but I would sure try it if I had a fungus problem! We’re back to “can’t hurt!”

I see the early stages of athlete’s foot, going give this try and see what the results are. Nothing else seems to be working unless you like the harsh chemicals with the over the counter stuff.

Hemp oil can work as a natural anti-fungal treatment for feet, skin, scalp, and acne. I would recommend it for use on bacterial acne or bacterial infections on the scalp. For more serious fungal infections, such as those found in human toenails, you may need something prescription-strength. I would suggest reviewing your use of hemp with your physician and discussing its potential benefits.

It isn’t the CBD properties that stop the fungus. It doesn’t matter how much CBD is in the oil since the hemp oil itself is the part that’s anti-fungal.

In cultivation, hemp plants can thrive with very little outside treatment in regards to bacteria, fungus, et cetera, as the terpenes naturally-present in the plant have potent antifungal and antibacterial properties, due to their highly-lipophilic nature. That said, full- or broad-spectrum CBD oil applied topically, can have the same antifungal and antibacterial properties. But, like using any other homeopathic remedy, one should first consult a trusted physician-sometimes a more reliable treatment is necessary.

A significant benefit of CBD oil is that it does have anti-fungal properties. There are specific compounds found in cannabis plants that have these anti-fungal properties. These properties are Cannabidiol (CBD), Cannabigerol (CBG), and Cannabichromene (CBC).

Well, I hear the pros and cons of Hemp / Cbd oil to be used for fungal rash or infection. It just depends on the person how their body reacts to it, I guess. Does this help fungal acne?

It does have some antifungal properties Here’s a quick sentence I found:

One of the benefits of CBD oil is that it displays antifungal properties. A study from 2011 revealed that specific compounds found in cannabis plants contain antifungal properties. These cannabinoids include cannabidiol (CBD), cannabichromene (CBC), and cannabigerol (CBG).

Yes, it can be an all-natural solution for anti-fungal treatment. If you’re trying to treat something serious, I would probably talk to a doctor, but if it’s something like athletes foot it doesn’t hurt to give it a try

Full-spectrum CBD oil works best in fighting fungal infections. Full-spectrum hemp oil containing CBC can help with athlete’s foot because of CBC’s antifungal properties. Antifungals like CBC work by stopping the cells from multiplying in fungus. This creates an environment where the fungus cells begin to die off.

Hemp does have natural antibacterial and antifungal properties. There was a great study published several years ago in the British Journal of Pharmacology, which stated that antifungal properties are present in hemp. Some other scientific studies have also concluded this.
A lot of people are turning to natural antifungal products such as hemp oil because there are fewer side effects than there are with the usual antifungal medications.
