Hemp wood finish can be used as a wood sealant. You are working with a sustainable product that will get the job done and keep the wood protected over time. Hemp oil is the right choice all around for its ready to go properties and resilience to the elements. The only downside to hemp oil as a wood finish is if you have a nut allergy. Hemp oil can cause an allergic reaction. If that is you, use caution or ask your partner or a friend to help in finishing your project.

Whether a hemp wood finish could act as a wood sealant will depend on which brand you choose. Every product is different and will have a different chemical composition. However, there are hemp-based wood finishes that can also act as a sealant. They can seep into the wood surface and create a protective cover. If you are interested in getting one, search online for products available in your local area.

Yes, hemp wood finish is suitable for sealing the wood. Hemp wood finish is ideal for natural bare woods as it will keep it looking great and helps with water resistance. You can also apply hemp wood finish to chalk or milk painted surfaces. Hemp oil can be used to coat wood once stained.

Really not a ton of options for it on the market right now. But the ones you do can be used as a sealer or a stain!

It is excellent for sealing wood as it hydrates the wood. It also works as a sealant and penetrates porous paint surfaces with just enough of it. It enriches the color and will give you a beautiful and natural top coat timber and matte finish.

      Yes, it is.

There aren’t too many products on the market currently, but you can definitely find some hemp oil-based wood sealers that provide an eco-conscious sealant that is biodegradable.

Yes! One huge plus is that you don’t need to thin it with anything, due to the naturally thin viscosity! It provides a fairly matte finish (:

Beautiful! Hemp oil is a lovely, natural top coat for sealing wood! Hemp Oil is good for wood, just like it is good for dry skin. It hydrates the wood and works as a great sealant for any porous wood surfaces.
