Yes and no.
The act of smoking, smoking anything is bad for your lungs. There are no such things as good smoking.
But, if you do have to smoke, Hemp is said to have some definite positives as not burning up as mush chemicals and such.

I’d say smoking any combustible plant material has the potential to damage your lungs over time to some degree. And you should consider whether or not you’re smoking your hemp flower or vaporizing it. But aside from the general effect of smoke inhalation it’s adverse effects are similar to that of smoking marijuana.

In a sense of yes or no, yes, smoking is bad. Comparatively, smoking hemp is less damaging than tobacco, as smokers do not typically smoke hemp cigarettes with the same frequency that tobacco users do. However, if it’s an unfiltered cigarette and not smoked through a pipe that filters through water, hemp can deposit more tar than cigarettes. It’s tricky, but my hot take is moderation, like everything.

Just like if you smoke anything, yes, it can be harmful to your lungs. If you smoke anything, it will irritate your lungs, to some extent. The amount you smoke per consumption and the frequency is what will determine if it’s actually “bad” for you. If you smoke it frequently and in high quantities, yes, it can be harmful to your lungs. But, if you are using rolling hemp papers or smoking small amounts of hemp, on a semi-frequent basis, the harm will likely be negligible.
