Does any clothing made from hemp is there a bad smell?

Sort of. They honestly do smell a little bit like straw or a little bit like a farm from a distance. One thing I can honestly say is they do retain smell. I burnt some ramen in my house the other day, and now my hemp sweatshirt smells like burnt ramen still.
