No rolling hemp papers do not contain any harmful chemicals. Most hemp production companies pride themselves in keeping their products as natural as possible, especially if they are going in or around your body. Yes, hemp will come in contact with some chemicals during the production process; it is inevitable. But not nearly at the level of other paper products you come by day today.
But make a habit of always reading the labels on anything you purchase—especially something that is going around your mouth and will be inhaled.

Hemp rolling papers don’t contain chemicals provided. They are 100% natural without any additives for color. Hemp rolling papers are slow burning and will not affect the flavor of the item being smoked. Hemp rolling papers are free of any residues. Hemp rolling papers are more environmentally friendly than others as they are completely biodegradable, unlike alternative rolling papers.

The standard rolling papers would cause serious health issues because of the potassium nitrate. These are colored rolling papers that you are supposed to avoid! This is an old-school issue for daily smokers. Have some passion for your health and use rolling hemp papers so that the need for making pesticides and herbicides will be over since they could cause cancer; instead, hemp papers are natural and toxin-free.

One of the significant benefits hemp rolling papers is the fact they don’t contain any chemicals. They are easy to roll with, burn evenly and slowly, and taste great.

Some do, yes. You want to find the hemp papers that have that organic look to them. If you buy bleached white hemp papers, you know you are at least getting that bleach it took to discolor them.

If they’re unbleached and made out of 100% hemp, then they shouldn’t contain any chemicals. As always, consult the packaging to be sure (:

      A lot of them do.

If you see white rolling papers, they are likely bleached.

There are lots of brands that are, however, entirely hemp-based.

If you haven’t heard of RAW papers, you should check them out. They are 100% hemp-based.

You could also look for the “Ital” symbol on some packaging. That’s a sign that it’s Rastafari approved as a natural whole food product (typically).

Depending on the brand, no. Raw brand papers, use 100% hemp and are all-natural so they do not use any chemicals. Other brands may have chemicals added to preserve the papers, you would need to do your research on each brand, or many packages will say if they are 100% hemp and all-natural or if they do have some chemicals added.
