So multiply that by the average amount per acre, a farmer can sell their hemp ($0.50-$0.60/acre), and you’ll they can make an average of $250-$300 per acre. Unlike livestock and grain, there’s no weekly report to give you a national average. I’ve seen numbers to suggest 2-3,00$, all the way up to 70,000$+. In the past year or so, hemp prices have decreased due to increased supply due to farmers realizing how much it can be worth and the relative ease to grow compared to some crops.
