They’re basically completely different and act on completely different receptor sites in our bodies.

CBD will act on our Endocannabinoid System (ECS), and Kratom has been described as a plant-based opioid and therefore acts on those receptor sites.

They have completely different effects on the body, but both share the properties of relaxation, pain relief, and sleep-aid.

While they may share in those effects, they accomplish these benefits in completely different ways.

I’d say they’re unrelated and probably should be taken separately. A lot of people don’t react well to Kratom, whereas CBD is softer on the body, in my opinion.

CBD is a derivative of the hemp plant–it is a cannabinoid which has many pharmaceutical benefits as well as aids in proper brain development and is found as a naturally-occurring compound within breast milk! It can alleviate symptoms of anxiety and depression and promote an overall feeling of calm. It also has potential pain-relieving abilities and can assist with over health, brain function, and heart health.

Kratom, or Mitragyna speciosa, is a tropical evergreen native to South East Asia; it is in the coffee family. In the areas of Asia where it is indigenous (Thailand, Malaysia, Myanmar, Indonesia, New Guinea), it dates back to at least the 1800s as being used in traditional medicines. Medicinally it is purported to be beneficial in alleviating anxiety, cough, diabetes, gastrointestinal issues, hypertension, depression, pain, as a sexual remedy, and has also been used to aid in those recovering from opiate addiction, as it decreases symptoms associated with withdrawal.

That said, I have never come across any products which combine the two. Not saying they don’t exist, simply I have never seen any. Assuming they are out there, the product you get is connected to hemp in that the CBD will have been derived from the hemp plant.

There’s actually quite a big difference between CBD and Kratom.

CBD comes from the hemp plant, which can be found with several countries in the northern hemisphere, Central China, and Mediterranean parts of Europe. CBD is a health-promoting compound found in this hemp plant and is all-natural, with few side effects.

Kratom is a tropical tree. It is native to Southeast Asia and can be found in countries like Thailand, Indonesia, Myanmar, Malaysia, and Papua New Guinea. Kratom has two active ingredients, mitragynine, and 7-hydroxy mitragynine. These ingredients interact with our opioid receptors in the same way that morphine or codeine does.

While they are different, CBD kratom would be a mix of the two plants used in a matter specified by the distributor. In the manner it is related to hemp, this occurs since it is mixed with CBD, and is derived from the hemp plant.
