Hemp biomass might be a “waste” from the processed hemp plant, but it can still be used for many processes. Hemp biomass can be used to make biofuel, fiber, paper, tea, and a lot more. Especially today that people are getting more creative and resourceful as time goes by.

Hemp biomass refers to the organic material that remains such as leaves and stalks after the flowers and seeds were harvested from the hemp plant. It means when hemp flowers and seeds are cultivated and processed, biological material will be left. It is considered as “waste,” but not totally since it still has a lot of uses.

Hemp biomass can be used for fiber, biofuel, paper, tea… the list goes on and on. Typically biomass refers to leaves and stems after the floral matter is harvested, but I’ve heard the term used to mean other parts as well. So if you’d be more explicit with exactly what parts you mean, I could give you a better answer (: Just don’t want to tell you something and it be wrong because we understand the word two different ways lol.

After quickly researching this one it looks like several things can come from Biomass, such as beauty products, food, medicine, and energy (fuel).

Depending on what the biomass consists of: food, clothing, oil extraction, and more. There are different types of hemp biomass – hemp stalk biomass and the biomass from the flowers and leaves.
