Hemp paper is produced way similar to a regular paper but uses hemp pulp instead of trees. Hemp paper is more suitable as it contains higher cellulose and lower lignin. It is much more eco-friendly and sustainable than a tree paper. It can be used in ten ways such as rolling papers, stationery, art paper, tea bags, filter paper, Bible paper, banknotes, paper blends, archive paper, and hygiene products.

I’m pretty sure anything that is made out of paper could also be made out of hemp paper, which typically has better properties than regular paper.

Anything that can be made out of tree paper can be replaced with hemp paper! Rolling paper, composition paper, cardboard, compostable plates, napkins… Honestly, the possibilities are limitless! Environmentally, hemp paper is superior to tree-pulped paper since it leaves a far smaller carbon footprint than growing trees.

Hemp is one of the suitable plants for making the paper, owing to the higher percentage of the cellulose fiber in the hemp plant. The uses of the hemp paper are enormous; a few are mentioned below.
Rolling papers:
In European countries, one of the critical use of the hemp paper is rolling paper. The unique characteristics of the hemp paper add the resilience factor in the rolling paper, thus making it ideal for rolling.
Teabags:
One of the essential characters of the tea bags is that they are porous but simultaneously hold up the contents when wet. The regular paper cant does the job. The Teabags are usually made from the blend of different papers, mainly containing wood fiber, and the hemp paper, to achieve the desired characteristics.
Hygiene products:
Most of the hygiene products and toiletries like the diapers have hemp paper; the main reason behind the choice is their high resistance to the break and tear process. Thus ensuring more exceptional durability.
According to the researches, the hemp paper is hypo-allergenic. Thus it is safe to use in contact with the skin as it doesn’t result in any irritation.
