Hemp root has been used since ancient times to treat different physical ailments. But in modern times, it’s still not used that extensively. Unlike the other parts of the hemp plant, the root doesn’t contain CBD. But it seems to be extremely high in other compounds with healing properties. So, it’s found to be of high medicinal value and is used to treat common health issues like inflammation, fever, joint aches, and ulcers.

Depends on where you look and how much you can trust the data! Right now, there are no hard facts or claims that are based on any scientific studies that testify to the benefits of hemp root. However, given just how good hemp is itself and knowing that sprouts and roots are nutritional powerhouses, I’d imagine hemp root is full of goodness. Surely, it carries all the benefits of the end-product, but more!

Hemp root has been used for centuries in medicine. It was used to lessen the bleeding during childbirth and boiled into a tea to help with inflammation and gout. In 2008, hemp root was shown to counteract the effects of poisons and toxins. Today, many use hemp root in lotions and oils as an antiseptic and pain relief.

Well, from some research, there seem to be a lot of positive claims about hemp root, but no actual hard FDA approved facts about it yet. What’s being claimed is that hemp root is a super medicine like a super aspirin. It is said to help treat cold symptoms such as fever, headache, joint pain, infection, and even arthritis.

Hemp root is something that has to be looked into a lot further to understand its full potential.

There are tons of anecdotal reports about the benefits of hemp roots, but no clear scientific evidence.

There is a report that suggested that the hemp roots were effective in treating staph infection.

With benefits like that, hemp roots would be a mistake to overlook.

Hemp roots have not been studied clinically yet. Only preclinical research has done involving the same molecules found in other plants. Scientists are just starting to acknowledge healing properties of hemp roots, including infections, fever, gout, bone and muscle aches, as well as postpartum hemorrhage. However, the soil must also be carefully considered because contaminated one could cause toxic roots and harmful plants.

Traditionally, they’ve been used in herbal and homeopathic medicine to treat a variety of conditions. Nearly anything you can think of, honestly. However, there is little “hard data” to support efficacy.
