Nanoemulsion is mixing liquids on the “nano” level. This technique is usually used when you have liquids that will not typically combine into one mixture. Nanoemulsion comes into play with hemp products to make it easier for our bodies to absorb CBD and other hemp oils. Usually, we do not absorb as much as we can when we consume CBD or other hemp oils because the compounds do not dissolve in water easily. With nanoemulsion, we can incorporate more of the product to get higher potency from the products.

Random question, but one I can answer is a bit of a science geek!

Nanoemulsion is essentially a concoction of things that appear to be as one. Once they’ve been mixed, it’s also impossible to tell what the individual components are. Usually, both parts are liquid; and they can be called either nano or microemulsions.

Nanoemulsions are tiny emulsions produced to improve the delivery of pharmaceutical ingredients. In hemp, nanoemulsion CBD is made by blasting a solution of CBD oil, an emulsifier, and a carrier liquid. Nanoemulsion will increase the bioavailability of CBD and THC when taken orally. Nanoemulsion CBD can best be described as a droplet of emulsion and oil bonded together, and this solution is water compatible.

Nanoemulsion is a system of heterogeneous that comprises two phases, the aqueous phase and the other is the oil phase. The emulsion is mixing of two unblendable liquid that one of them is being solubilized into little particles floating in another micelle. It is called nanoemulsion because the size of the particles in the emulsion is nano.

Nanoemulsion is a process by which two liquids that normally don’t mix (they’re actually unable to mix, like oil and water) are combined to form one mixture. This process occurs by means of an emulsifying agent and results in nano-sized emulsions. Nano-emulsions are typically manufactured to improve the delivery of active ingredients in pharmaceuticals.

Back to science class! Nano-emulsion is when you mix two things, making it appear to be one thing. Nano-emulsion got its name because once mixing the two things combined because one or indistinguishable from each other.

Nano-emulsion is when you mix two substances together, becoming one substance due to its emulsion on a nucleic level. This is called nano-emulsion because the two substances have become indistinguishable from one another, due to this process.

An emulsion is a mixture of substances that don’t necessarily mix but are elegant enough in particulates that it creates a seamless substance that “appears” as one mixture.

So, a nanoemulsion is a type of emulsion that is smaller than a microemulsion.

These types of emulsions are commonly found in hemp-based topical products, as well as some food products.

This is because CBD is an oil, and to combine it with other substances, emulsions are the way to go.

Nanoemulsions mix (hemp or any) oil with water, a surfactant, and a cosurfactant, in the right proportions, with some mild agitation. It’s much like making salad dressing, add some oil, vinegar, and a tiny bit of mustard and shake… and the oil and vinegar don’t separate.
