What’s used for cooking is actually the hemp heart, which is the soft inner part of the hemp seed. It’s great to add a lovely nutty flavor to any dish. You can add it to your regular meatball recipe, and it’ll work just fine. I usually combine hemp seeds with ground meat, garlic, onions, sun-dried tomatoes, and an egg, together with plenty of seasoning. Then bake in a pre-heated oven for 20-25 minutes.

I recently tried this miso meatball recipe that is fantastic!
It calls for ground beef, fresh ground pepper, soy sauce, grated ginger, minced garlic, chives, miso paste, hemp hearts (unshelled seeds), and one egg as the binder.
Mix everything together well and let it set in the fridge for at least an hour.
These meatballs are pan-fried then baked to make sure the meat cooks properly.
While the oven is preheating at 300F, take the meat mixture and roll into balls.
Pan-fry over medium heat until brown on the outside.
Make in the oven for 15minutes, and your miso balls are ready to serve!

This goes perfectly with a creamy garlic mashed potatoes. Take a look around, though, as there are a number of great hemp seed meatball recipes to try.

You can honestly take your favorite or standard meatball recipe and add in hemp seeds or hemp hearts. Both will bring a naturally nutty taste to your meatball-making it all the more enjoyable!

Healthy meatballs contain every kind of material for different tastes! Putting the right spices, moisture, and texture together, you will reach the ultimate golden flavor of it! This meal also contains fiber, protein, and iron. You must fuse all ingredients that you had explored on the web and then proceed toward either of the two ways of making it (pan-fried method, baked).

Hemp crisps! Ingredients are the following:

Mix the egg and brown sugar to the melted butter. Then mix cinnamon, flour, and hemp seeds. Combine these mixes. Flatten a spoon drop of dough into a cookie sheet. Finally, bake until lightly browned and wait till it crisps.

I don’t really use a recipe, but my standard meatball is a mix of ground lamb, pork, and beed. Also add diced onion and minced garlic, salt, and pepper, fresh basil, and oregano—some Worcestershire. Add hemp hearts. Mix it all together, and if it’s a bit dry, I will add an egg. I also like to stuff mine with cheese (: Then I brown in a skillet before adding them to my sauce to finish simmering.

Use your favorite meatball recipe! The seeds can easily be added to any recipe, once shelled and ground up. You can then add them into nearly any recipe, cooking them into any of your favorite food for an added protein boost and the great addition of omega 3 and 6 fatty acids.

No breadcrumbs just shelled hemp hearts. It’s gluten-free and healthier. This is the one I use:
Baked Italian-Style Meatballs
1lb ground beef, 1 tsp Italian seasoning, 1 tsp granulated garlic, ½ tsp onion powder, 2 tsp salt, ½ tsp black pepper (I add more), 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce, 2 TBSP tomato paste, one egg, 2 TBSP flaxseed meal, ¼ C shelled hemp seeds.
Preheat oven to 400
Combine everything in a large bowl. Make 12 meatballs. Put on a lightly greased cookie sheet. Bake about 20 minutes.
