It is mentioned as being used for incense for celebrations and a way to be intoxicated. There are arguments for hemp and marijuana because it is a plant made by God, so there should be no issues in consuming it. Hemp reeds are also mentioned as being used as a material for rugs and other items used in homes. 0 Login to Reply Share Share Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Share on LinkedIn Share on WhatsApp MarcLouis 0 Questions 187 Answers 0 Best Answers 376 Points View Profile MarcLouis 2020-08-08T12:30:01-04:00Added an answer on August 8, 2020 at 12:30 pm Hemp is mentioned in the bible, apparently in Genesis 1:29. It is said that Genesis 1:29 is implying that marijuana is edible because, like all plants, it was created by God. There is also mention in the Old Testament of hemp, in Exodus 30:8 and Exodus 30:22. Also, in the Old Testament, Song of Songs 4:8. There are many more references to hemp and cannabis in the bible. 0 Login to Reply Share Share Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Share on LinkedIn Share on WhatsApp Abe Melbourne, Australia 2 Questions 238 Answers 0 Best Answers 559 Points View Profile Abe 2020-07-28T20:21:30-04:00Added an answer on July 28, 2020 at 8:21 pm We can see hemp-related topics and original Hebrew testament, the usage of it as the intoxicant manner, and incense for religious ceremonies. Some people define the words of genesis 1:29 to refer to weed, which is genetically suitable and certified for humans since God formed this earth and all plants. 0 Login to Reply Share Share Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Share on LinkedIn Share on WhatsApp Jade 0 Questions 69 Answers 0 Best Answers 139 Points View Profile Jade 2020-07-27T12:53:15-04:00Added an answer on July 27, 2020 at 12:53 pm Genesis 1:29 And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you, it shall be for meat. The original Hebrew supposedly mentioned hemp by name, so some people interpret these words to mean it was created for us by God. 0 Login to Reply Share Share Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Share on LinkedIn Share on WhatsApp surf2day 0 Questions 27 Answers 0 Best Answers 74 Points View Profile surf2day 2020-05-01T02:21:18-04:00Added an answer on May 1, 2020 at 2:21 am I was surprised by this question, so I went ahead and looked it up: Isaiah 43:24 711 BCE “You have not bought any fragrant calamus [cannabis] for me, or lavished on me the fat of your sacrifices.
