The hemp plant can flourish and producing its seeds without any help, and that’s because of its antibacterial characteristics providing the plant with robust defenses against bacteria, fungi, and viruses. Naturally being highly lipophilic, these antifungal, antibacterial properties are passed over to the terpenes of hemp.

I would consult a doctor before using hemp oil as an anti-fungal ointment. Hemp oil has been successful combating some fungus, but I would say you’re better off using an anti-fungal cream that your doctor recommends.

Yes.
It probably isn’t strong enough to combat your toe fungus, but there do exist certain terpenes that help the hemp plant combat fungal pathogens while it’s growing.
If you do decide to try to use CBD oil topically to combat fungal dermatitis, I would only use broad or full-spectrum because it will contain the lesser-known terpenes that resist fungus (the terpenes that Nick24 mentioned).
All in all, hemp oil is excellent for your skin and inflammation, so it’d be worth a shot to try it for your fungus outbreaks.

Hemp oil, also known as CBD oil, contains a natural compound that displays antifungal properties. These cannabinoids contain cannabidiol (CBD), cannabichromene (CBC), and cannabigerol (CBG). The hemp oil has one oxygen and one hydrogen atom. Hence, this oil kills the fungus by killing off its membrane cells by targeting ergosterol. Without ergosterol, the fungus cannot survive for long, and once it dies, it does not harm any other particle. Hemp oil also increases the effectiveness of many other antifungal properties.
